I decided to exhibit my work in Fukuoka, Japan, using an ipad to digitally draw pictures and "float" them on an acrylic board. The base material is collage. It is made up of various objects that I have encountered during my five years in Fukuoka. The people and landscapes that I have encountered during this period physically float in the air. I thought it would be appropriate for the year 2021, when the digital asset "NTF" has begun to circulate, to have a certain distance between the transparent, physical existence of the digital output and the analog existence of the various papers.

ipadを使ってデジタルに描かれた絵をアクリル板を下地のコラージュから「浮かす」作品とします。下地は福岡に通ったこの五年間で出会った様々な紙。この期間に出会った人々や風景が物理的に浮かび上がらせる。デジタルが出力された透明で物理的な存在と、様々な紙というアナログな存在が一定の距離を持っていることが、デジタル資産「NTF」が流通し始めた2021年に相応しい。
